Habitat

How It Works

Scorchhowl comes from the Emberpup fire line, which runs Emberpup → Flameruff and then branches into Scorchhowl or Inferlupa. It brings 119 ATK and a Scorching Flames trait that increases damage dealt to elementally countered targets by 25% — a straight upgrade to your Fire matchups. Fire Kick and Burn Breaker are the workhorses at 72 and 84 power, Fire Bolt applies burn stacks from range, and Falling Star closes for 170.

Strategy

  • •Scorching Flames only pays out when you attack into a Fire weakness, so check the enemy element and open on the correct target.
  • •Burn Breaker costs 30 EP for 84 power — bring energy support or a Regen creature so it is not a one-shot.
  • •Fire Kick grants invincibility frames while you leap, which doubles as your dodge against slow boss telegraphs.

Tips

Scorchhowl is a pure damage pick with no defensive skill, so pair it with a Heal or Support creature for endgame content.

Standing in your own burn zones is not a risk here — Fire resists Fire, so mirror matchups hurt less than you would expect.
